REFLECTIONS ON LIFE

One day a young lady was driving along with her  father.  They came upon a  storm,  and the young lady  asked her  father, What should I do? After analising the situation, he said "Keep driving". Cars began to pull over to the side, the storm was getting worse. "What should I do? the young lady asked again  "Keep driving, don't stop," her father replied. On up a few feet, she noticed that eighteen wheelers were also pulling over. She told her dad, "I must pull over, I can barely see ahead. It is terrible, and everyone is pulling over!" Her father told her, "Don't give up, just keep driving! Go on!" Now the storm was terrible, but she never stopped driving, and soon she could see a little more clearly. After a couple of miles she was again on dry land, and the sun came out. Her father said, "Now you can pull over and get out."  She said "But why now?" He said "When you get o...

A donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do.  Finally, After trying different ways to help the animal unsuccessfully and without a clear idea, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.  He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well.  At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.  A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.  As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up.
