#026 JUST KEEP GOING

One day a young lady was driving along with her father.
They came upon a storm, and the young lady asked her
father, What should I do?

After analising the situation, he said "Keep driving". Cars began to pull over to the side,
the storm was getting worse.
"What should I do? the young lady asked again
"Keep driving, don't stop," her father replied.
On up a few feet, she noticed that eighteen
wheelers were also pulling over. She told her dad, "I
must pull over, I can barely see ahead. It is terrible,
and everyone is pulling over!"
Her father told her, "Don't give up, just keep
driving! Go on!"
Now the storm was terrible, but she never stopped
driving, and soon she could see a little more clearly.
After a couple of miles she was again on dry land,
and the sun came out.
Her father said, "Now you can pull over and get
out."
She said "But why now?"
He said "When you get out, look back at all the people that gave up and are still in the storm, because you never gave up your storm is now over."

This is a testimony for anyone who is going through
"hard times".
While there are sometimes legitimate reasons for stopping, often times dry land is right in front of us - we just can't see it while sitting in the storm. It's a lesson that we can apply to all facets of life.
Just because everyone else, even the strongest,
gives up. You don't have to...if you keep going, soon
your storm will be over and the sun will shine upon
your face again.

  1. We must never give up! Even when the storm is dark .. and sad. A beautiful story with beautiful lesson..The phrase of the image was said by Jack Ma, an enterprising man, he's the creator of the company Ali Baba, he had never surrendered before the difficulties .. In my opinion during difficult times, it's very difficult not to want to give up everything, but we must be persistent in any situation and focus on the future. We should think well what it is that we really want in the end. To be happy? Then we must not become depressed and transform the sadness into desires to overcome. I think any difficulty is overcome.. It's all about being
persistent and have confidence in ourselves :)

    1. Yep, even when sometimes we might think that it is better to wait, it depends cus' not always we have to go on, I mean what if it is a really dangerous situation.
On the other hand, many times we consider dangerous what it is not, and we surrender, we have to overcome our fears and succeed in life.

  2. In the story, while it is true that refers to a natural phenomenon this can be a comparative to what happens in the codtidian life. From time to time there may be adversities and difficult moments that will try to stop our professional, work and/or sentimental development and for this it is very important to control our emotions and stay calm all the time. It is also important to set objectives, in this way the mind will always be busy not allowing space to think about the problems that seek to stop our progress. Just as each company has a vision and mission, each person who has clear these two aspects and with a solid emotional intelligence, can overcome adversities easily.

  3. Interesting story! All we want we can have it with perseverance even if the situation is difficult. Good things don't came for free, we have to work hard for them and don't give up. Sometimes we don't have enough strength because we are tired, we see only negative results or because we have a bad day, and those are our storms, our daily storms and the best we can do is face them and then discover that storm is over.

  4. I loved this story, because I believe that in difficult situations in our lifes, the most important is never give up and be brave, because also they are part of our personal, mental and spiritual growth. Hard times make us stronger.
Once a friend told me: "Sometimes our problems are a small drop in the middle of ocean". It reminds me that I have to continue...
