#071 A SPECIAL GRADUATION AND HOW TO STOP A BULLY

Image
Many people have been victims of bullies, and others have seen people suffering it but haven't done anything to help the victim and what is worse some people laugh about it. Consequently some people have killed themselves. Sorry about that but it is true. Here I will share two stories cus It's been a long time I haven't posted cus to be honest I have been not only busy but going through hard times, God knows why things happen :) anyway the first story is lovely, and the second maybe some people have a different point of view but remember he is talking about offending other people not necessarily letting people hit you. Enjoy them and comment! This is a touching story about a boy called Kyle and how one kind action can change someone’s life. There was a boy called Donovan in high school and one day he saw another boy from his class, called  Kyle , walking home having been in school. Kyle was carrying all his books from school. The boy thought  “Why would he be tak...

#068 PLEASE DON'T KILL YOURSELF

Image
First of all I want you to know you are not the first one who have experienced it. Many people have thought about it at least once in life, however please read it. Don't kill yourself today because  if you do, your mother or that one who lives with you will come to your room to wake you up, only to realize that your heart isn't beating. Don't kill yourself today because  that person will hold your cold, dead body. While sobbing uncontrollably with the realization that she will never get to hold you again. Don't kill yourself today because  when they address your death at school, university or work, your best friend or that colleague will be sitting in class or at work, completely frozen and destroyed. Don't kill yourself today because  your best friend or maybe the only person who you once thought loved you will be too sad to do anything for weeks. She will have blamed herself for your suicide, and will ask herself why she couldn't do anything for you. S...

#067 A TRAIN RIDE

Image
LIFE IS LIKE A TRAIN RIDE... We get on, We ride, We get off.  There are accidents and there are delays. At certain stops there are surprises. Some of these will translate into great moments of joy; some will result in profound sorrow.  When we are born and we first board the train, we meet people whom we think will be with us for the entire journey. Those people are our parents!  Sadly, this is far from the truth...Our parents are with us for as long as we absolutely need them. They too have journeys they must complete. We live on with the memories of their love, affection, friendship, guidance and their ever presence. There are others who board the train and who eventually become very important to us, in turn. These people are our brothers, sisters, friends and acquaintances, whom we will learn to love, and cherish. Some people consider their journey like a jaunty tour. They will just go merrily along. Others will encounter many upsets, tears...

#059 THE SEASONS OF LIFE

Image
There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn to not judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away. The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest son in the fall. When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen. The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted. The second son said no – it was covered with green buds and full of promise. The third son disagreed, he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen. The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfilment. The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but one season in the tree’s life. He told them that you cannot judg...

#026 JUST KEEP GOING

Image
One day a young lady was driving along with her  father.  They came upon a  storm,  and the young lady  asked her  father, What should I do? After analising the situation, he said "Keep driving". Cars began to pull over to the side, the storm was getting worse. "What should I do? the young lady asked again  "Keep driving, don't stop," her father replied. On up a few feet, she noticed that eighteen wheelers were also pulling over. She told her dad, "I must pull over, I can barely see ahead. It is terrible, and everyone is pulling over!" Her father told her, "Don't give up, just keep driving! Go on!" Now the storm was terrible, but she never stopped driving, and soon she could see a little more clearly. After a couple of miles she was again on dry land, and the sun came out. Her father said, "Now you can pull over and get out."  She said "But why now?" He said "When you get o...

#023 THE ELEPHANT AND THE ROPE

Image
As a man was passing the elephants, he suddenly stopped, confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains, no cages. It was obvious that the elephants could, at anytime, break away from their bonds but for some reason, they did not. He saw a trainer nearby and asked why these animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away.  “Well,” trainer said, “when they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, it’s enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free.” The man was amazed. These animals could at any time break free from their bonds but because they believed they couldn’t, they were stuck right where they were. Like the elephants, how many of us go through life hanging onto a belief that we cannot do something, simply bec...

#021 THE DONKEY AND THE WELL

Image
A donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do.  Finally, After trying different ways to help the animal unsuccessfully and without a clear idea, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.  He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well.  At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.  A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.  As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey step...

#018 THINGS AREN'T ALWAYS WHAT THEY SEEM

Image
Two travelling angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a wealthy family. The family was rude and refused to let the angels stay in the mansion's guest room. Instead the angels were given a small space in the cold basement. As they made their bed on the hard floor, the older angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it. When the younger angel asked why, the older angel replied, "Things aren't always what they seem."  The next night the pair came to rest at the house of a very poor, but very hospitable farmer and his wife. After sharing what little food they had, the couple let the angels sleep in their bed where they could have a good night's rest and they went to sleep on an old sofa.  When the sun came up the next morning the angels found the farmer and his wife in tears. Their only cow, whose milk had been their sole income, lay dead in the field. The younger angel was infuriated and asked the older angel how could you have let this happen?...

#008 ARE YOU A CARROT, AN EGG, OR A COFFEE BEAN?

Image
A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her.  She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up.  She was tired of fighting and struggling.  It seemed as one problem was solved a new one arose. Her mother took her to the kitchen.  She filled three pots with water.  In the first, she placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil without saying a word.  In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners.  She dished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl.  She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl.  Then she ladled the coffee into a bowl.  Turning to her daughter, she asked, “Tell me what you see?” “Carrots, eggs, and coffee,” she replied. She brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots.  She did and noted that they were soft.  She then asked her to take a...

#003 THE TOUGHEST JOB IN THE WORLD

Image
What do you think is the most difficult job to do? Once a man published a job on the       internet and in newspapers, the name  of this job was “director of operations” and many people applied to get the position. Real interviews were held and the interviewer mentioned it as the most important job in the world because you have to stand up and walk most of the time, constantly on your feet, constantly bending over, It’s necessary a high level of stamina, you need to work twenty four hours a day, it means unlimited hours, you will not work alone but with an associate, you can have lunch but only when the associate is done eating his or her lunch. These are some of the requirements: - You have to know about medicine, finance and negotiation and sometimes.  - You have to work overnight, there is no vacation and actually on holidays like Christmas there is more work. - There is no time to sleep and no breaks butthe feeling that y...
