#050 AN INTERESTING FUNERAL

One day all the employees of a very unusual company reached their office and all saw a big sign on the main door which said this . . .

'Yesterday, the person who has been hindering your growth in this company passed away. We invite you to join the funeral in the room that has been prepared in the gym.'

In the beginning, they all got sad for the death of one of their colleagues, but after a while they started getting curious to know who was that person who hindered the growth of their colleagues and the company itself?

The excitement in the gym was such that security agents were ordered to control the crowd within the room. The more people reached the coffin, the more the excitement heated up.

Everyone thought - 'Who is this person who was hindering my progress?'

One by one the intrigued employees got closer to the coffin, and when they looked inside it, they suddenly became speechless.

They all got to stand near the coffin, and all ended up shocked and in silence, as if someone had touched the deepest part of their soul. There was a mirror inside the coffin: everyone who looked inside it could see themselves! There was also a sign next to the mirror that said. . .
'There is only one person who is capable of setting limits to your growth and IT IS YOU!'

Your life does not change when your boss changes, when your friends change, when your parents change, when your husband or wife changes, when your company changes, when your church changes, when your location changes, when your money changes, when your status changes . . .
No, your life changes when YOU change, when you go beyond your limiting beliefs.

Examine yourself, watch yourself. Don't be afraid of difficulties, impossibilities and losses. Be a winner, build yourself and your reality. It's the way you face life itself that makes the difference.

  1. I agree because the real changes in your life only occur when the decision is only yours, otherwise the change will be temporary.

    1. Interesting point, however I consider it has to be with the way you take other people words, what I mean to say is that others can influence on you a lot, so we must be careful about it, otherwise we could regret about it, selfesteem plays an important role.

  2. We live on a world where your growth is obstructed by your fears , the fear of failing or that things don't as result are proposed the fear of what people say, just risk yourself and continue.

I believe that we are born to risk our goals, to improve our character, our attitudes, to improve our future. Live give you opportunities but it is in each one to achieves our planned goals, to away get up after and try not to commit the same mistakes again.

  3. Personally, I think that is depend on the context or the case.
Why? Because is true that the history or the reading said. "The change begins with oneself"
But, also the a person changes by the influence of another person.
    A guide, a mentor, a master, a teacher, etc.
Because many years ago, I was a person disobedient, spoiled and I didnt try hard in studies.
But my master, guided me to the right path. He gave me discipline to my life and he taught me many things about the life.

    Best Regards

    1. Excellent way of thinking Mr Chan Pan, it depends on the context, this story tries to tell us about the fact that many times people are a barrier to reach our goals, however as you pointed out if it is to help you it is great as your experience. But you know what I would add something we must be careful because sometimes people pretend they are trying to help you when they tell you some things cus' maybe it happened to them in the past, somebody told them something negative and they believed it was positive and transmit it as a chain, anyway take care and thank you for the "pollo a la brasa" in teacher's day lol

  4. The only thing that does not allow us to advance and grow internally every time we feel inferior is us, we believe that we are not good for something or we are simply distracted by the simplest. This story teaches that the only thing that stops us is that each one of us has skills that if we put them into practice we will improve them, we are conscious beings capable of doing everything, we just need effort.

    1. Correct Vasco, in other words "Practice makes perfect" we can do everything we want or would like to learn, all what we need is effort. :)

  5. I agree with the message of the story, since people often think that they must have to be, when in reality it must be the opposite. They hope that things outside their power change their lives or solve the problem; However, that will never happen so you will not be master of your own destiny and life. In this life you only achieve success with hard and constant work.

  6. I'm agree in my point of view there is no one who hinders your growth because if you really want to achieve something that is possible to achieve it and do not give up, you persevere until you reach it I think that the story tries to transmit is that you limit yourself to not reaching your goals.
