#074 THE TWO FRIENDS AND THE BEAR

Vijay and Raju were friends. One day while on holiday, exploring a forest they knew that anything dangerous can happen to them at any time in there. So they promised each other that they would remain united in any case of danger.
Suddenly, they saw a large bear approaching them.
Naturally, they were both frightened, so Raju, who knew how to climb trees, climbed one quickly. He didn’t spare a thought for his friend who had no idea how to climb.

Vijay thought for a moment. He had heard that animals don’t attack dead bodies, so he fell to the ground and held his breath. The bear sniffed him, it smelt in his ears, thought he was dead, and went on its way slowly because the bears do not touch the dead creatures.

Moral Stories

Raju, after he had climbed down from the tree asked Vijay, “What did the bear whisper in your ears?”
Vijay replied, “The bear advised me not to believe a false friend and to keep away from you.”

Moral of the story: A friend in need is a friend indeed. A true Friend is the one who always supports and stands by you in any situation.

  2. In my opinion, i like this story because it shows you how a person could say you are his friend and that he would never betray you, but in the end those people are the first ones to do it and it does hurt because you give them all your trust and when you most need them when you are in trouble or things get complicated, they suddenly leave you alone, as the moral said "A true Friend is the one who always supports and stands by you in any situation", because that's what a friend does, gives you the motivation to move on and face all the problems that could appear doesn't matter how difficult it is they will always be next to you. If Vijay didn't knew that animals dont attack dead bodies he would've died due to the selfishness of Raju of thinking only of himself and leaving Vijay to his fate. That is why you need to have a friend to always count on.

  3. True friendship is when a friend is with you in the good and bad moments of your life.
In this story he tells that Vijay leaves Raju alone just when he was in danger of his life, instead of helping him he left him alone.
Don't be like vijay, when you have a friend in trouble always support him and don't leave him alone.

  4. I think this is a story that should be read by everyone because it gives us a very important teaching about choosing your friends. Not always the persons around us are our real friends because when you have a real friend, it will support you and help you in whatever you need, that person will be with you in your bad and happy moments and will never leave you alone. So, in this story we can see that Raju was a bad friend by leaving Vijay alone and not keeping his promise to remain united, because he let him run the risk of being attacked by the bear.

  6. Nice story and interesting as it shows you the true value of friendship.

It is said that when someone really matters to us, it is not because of what they do, what they can give or what they have, but because of who they are, and why you will be able to see for their well-being without stopping to think about yourself.

However, it is not easy to take care of something as fragile as friendship. There are many things that can get in the way as events that can come up. It may seem unfair, but this is the way life works to test what is really important. And nobody is capable of questioning it, because anyway you can't have control over things, like those actions or instincts that humans sometimes do without thinking.

The most special test between two or more people who share a bond is to be there for and for the people you love. It doesn't matter that you are going to get into trouble or even if they do not thank you later, if they are going through a difficult time, you will be there and you will know how to be patient with them.

  7. This story has a lot of truth with life itself, it is very difficult to trust people
until they are shown as real they are, we are human we tend to fail that is why we must always be prepared to be disappointed. Life is hard but also beautiful and we have to learn to balance those moments, so as not to get stressed, in my case I always try to have a contingency plan, a plan B because there is always the probability that things do not go as planned. in the end, the only thing left to do is laugh because you already knew it and were prepared to face it.

  8. I consider that this little story helps us reflect and later question who our true friends are, because usually people appear to offer you sincere friendship but when bad times happen they abandon you and do not help you, as in the case of the friends in the story because Raju only thought about him and did not think about what could happen to his friend, thus demonstrating his lack of loyalty and affection.
